Hours of work: 10 hours 20 minutes per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)
Fixed term: Until July 2028

Our school requires an Individual Needs Assistant to work in a KS2 classroom from September 2026. The post is for 10 hours 20 mins per week 08.40 am to 15.20pm, 2 days a week (Thursday & Friday). 
 

The salary will be Single Status Grade 3, point 7. This is a fixed term contract initially for one academic year and will be reviewed at the end of this period. 
 

The successful candidate will be a motivated and energetic individual who has a calm, organised, patient and professional approach to working with children.  We would like a cheerful, reliable, flexible and hardworking individual.

The successful candidate will:

• have an interest and passion for supporting children;

• have a commitment to inclusion for all within a mainstream setting;

• believe in supporting every child to be the best that they can be

• Speech and language

• Sensory training desirable

• Social skills/nurture training desirable
