Industrial Cleaner

Our client, based in Portbury near Bristol, are currently recruiting for Cleaner to join their busy team with a pay rate of £15.32 per hour for rotating shifts.

Based in Portbury, the role for a Cleaner is available on a rotating shift

SHIFT

• 6am-2pm (week 1)
• 2pm - 10pm (week 2)

PAY

• £15.32 per hour for rotating shifts

Key responsibilities

In this role as an industrial Cleaner you will be responsible for adhering to the daily, weekly and ad hoc cleaning schedules, you will work closely will the Hygiene manager, colleagues and production teams to ensure the production areas are cleaned to the required standards in-line with company cleaning procedures. You will also be responsible for stock control of chemicals, consumables, and equipment.

You will follow good manufacturing practices and site policy to ensure the safety of yourself, others around you and the equipment. You will be required to complete surface swabbing to verify cleaning and hygiene practices.
Qualifications and skills

You will need excellent communication skills & be able to work on your own as well as part of a team. You will need to be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting and manual handling involved in the role.
Previous experience in a hygiene role, or food manufacturing site would be an advantage, but full training will be given to successful candidates.

The role pays £15.32 with enhanced overtime available. The site is not easily accessible by public transport, so please check that you are able to get to the site before you apply to the role.
