About the Role
We are an agency recruiting on behalf of a leading cleaning company seeking reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaning Operatives to join their specialist team.
This role involves working across retail sites nationwide, carrying out a range of specialist external and industrial cleaning duties, including cleaning external cladding, signage and guttering, pressure washing, high-level cleaning and warehouse cleaning. The role will also involve light grounds maintenance, including hedge trimming and general outdoor upkeep.
You will work as part of a two-person team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning external cladding, signage and guttering to a professional standard Pressure washing and high-level cleaning Warehouse and general industrial cleaning Carrying out light grounds maintenance, including hedge trimming and general outdoor upkeep Working safely at height where required (full training provided if necessary) Travelling to sites across the UK, often staying away from home Working predominantly unsociable hours, including nights and early mornings Maintaining equipment and adhering to health & safety regulations Representing the company professionally on client sites Working effectively as part of a two-person team What We’re Looking For
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude Willingness to work unsociable hours on a regular basis Flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away from home Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical/manual duties Ability to work effectively as part of a small team Previous cleaning, grounds maintenance, landscaping or outdoor/manual work experience is beneficial but not essential Full UK driving licence preferred What’s on Offer
