We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Industrial Coded Welder to join our team in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong welding capabilities and proven experience in testing, inspection and quality control.
The successful candidate will be confident working to industry standards, producing high-quality welds and ensuring all work meets the required specifications and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out high-quality coded welding across industrial projects.
Perform welding work in accordance with relevant welding procedures and industry standards.
Competently carry out testing and inspection of welds, identifying and resolving any defects.
Ensure all welds meet required quality, safety and compliance standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols and technical specifications.
Maintain accurate welding and testing documentation where required.
Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as an Industrial Coded Welder.
Valid and relevant welding coding qualifications.
Demonstrable competence in weld testing and inspection.
Strong understanding of welding procedures, quality standards and defect identification.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
Salary of £75,000 per annum
