Industrial Lubricants Sales Manager

My client was founded in 1954, as a family owned business.

Covering all of Scotland and depo’s Southern England they are a leading fuel supplier, also offering lubricants and greases and domestic heating.

Through company expansion they are looking to add an Industrial sales manager to their team in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in the Industrial Lubricants Sector and to join an ever growing business.

**Field based Role**

Industrial Lubricants Sales Manager – Aberdeen

£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) 30 days holiday, Onsite parking, Pension is up to 7.5%, Life insurance, EAP programme

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Account management of existing clients to maintain strong business relationships
• Actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand client base and increase revenue
• Leading and managing a team of three salespeople
• Providing ongoing support, coaching, and training as needed
• Applying in-depth knowledge of industrial lubricants to advise clients and support sales team
• Identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions
• Resolving customer issues promptly and effectively (problem-solving and solution-finding)
• Preparing and delivering regular reports to the Managing Director on sales performance, team progress, and market insights
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of client solutions

• Stay up to date with product developments, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Understand equipment lubrication requirements, tribology, and compatibility issues.
• Have strong communication skills
• Capable of supporting and leading a team
• Good time management
• Be able to travel
• Full clean driving
• Strong IT skills
