We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Assistant to join North Wales Police's dynamic team! What You'll Do: As an Information Security Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Information Standards & Compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in supervising the Information Standards & Compliance Section to ensure resilience in staffing. Conducting audits to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Force Information Systems. Providing guidance and advice on Information Security issues to Divisional Commanders, Heads of Departments, and the public. Monitoring and reviewing existing procedures related to information security. Investigating security incidents and implementing necessary corrective actions. Assisting with the preparation and delivery of training on information security issues.Who We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you should possess:
An HNC/D or equivalent qualification in a business-related area, or relevant proven experience. Understanding of the audit function and working knowledge of Information Technology. Ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities to information security. Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with staff at all levels.Why Join Us?

You will need to travel throughout the Force area and occasionally outside of it.
