Job Description - Information Technology Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated IT Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our on-premises and cloud technologies while delivering exceptional IT services to our Dublin and London offices. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a drive to champion IT best practices, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
General administration of on-premises and cloud technologies, including user account management and identity/access management.
Setting up and issuing hardware (e.g., laptops, mobile devices and peripherals), managing equipment lifecycles such as retirement and disposal, and maintaining an accurate asset database.
Additionally, operating an IT helpdesk during office hours, respond to user requests, discuss solutions, and provide equipment.
Coordination of the delivery of IT services in the Dublin and London offices by working closely with non-technical representatives.
Be a champion of IT, risk management, and data management best practices across the global business, raising awareness, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities, and engage with feedback.
Conducting training sessions to maximize the benefits of Office 365 for end-users.
Creating, initiating, and implementing various security and governance programs.
Reviewing IT security and data management clauses in client or supplier contracts and completing client risk assessments performed on the business are key responsibilities.
Supporting the company in reaching globally recognized standards, such as CyberEssentials+ and ISO27001, is essential.

Experience Required

Must have:
Commercial experience in an IT/information security/compliance-related role.
Experience with Microsoft 365, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, Admin Centre, Teams, Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.
Knowledge and experience with cloud storage solutions.
Proficiency with vendor management and in administrating IT hardware (procurement, configuration, returns, disposal, etc.) and maintaining an asset database.
Familiarity with IT policies and experience in developing and writing IT processes.
Automating repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications and information security best practices.
Experience in managing highly sensitive and confidential data, including commercially confidential, intellectual property, and special-category personal data.
Understanding of data privacy regulations, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Adopting energy-efficient technologies and practices to reduce the environmental impact of IT operations.

Good-to-have:
Microsoft Office 365 administration qualification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with deploying Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions to provide secure and efficient remote access to work environments.
An entry-level industry-standard qualification (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
Familiarity with MacOS and the ability to troubleshoot and support MacOS-based systems effectively
