Information Technology Manager

Job DescriptionWe are searching for a competent IT Manager to oversee all technology needs across two 5 star hotels in London, ensuring that all systems are operational, performant, secure, and up to date. The role includes overseeing technical projects, and maintaining IT infrastructure.The successful candidate will have prior experience from a hotel setting and be accustomed to the hospitality industry. In return for your knowledge and service you will be provided with a very competitive salary, excellent growth opportunities, great company benefits and the you'll be welcomed by an amazing team.Essential Duties & FunctionsOversee all installed systems and infrastructure across properties and Head Office, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.To ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the Company.Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and/or Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications.Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to protect IT systems and data integrity across all locations.Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.Lead and support IT projects, such as system upgrades and new technology rollouts, ensuring minimal operational impact.Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies and IT best practices to enhance system usage and security.Excellent knowledge of Windows environment servers and stations, Active Directory, Switching & Firewalls, telephones & mobile.Good knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud PMS, Networking, Micros Point of Sale and other hotel systems.Exceptional attention to detail, time management and communication skills.Liaise with the outsource service providers and other vendors and external support groups to secure necessary repairs and maintenance.Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and services.In-depth knowledge of network protocols vice agreements.Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness of procured IT services.Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement. To maintain the integrity of the systems and network, including, but not exclusively, the servers, infrastructure and 3rd party support contracts / relationships.To provide out of hours support.Essential Job Knowledge & Skillsexperience of working within a similar IT Management role, ideally within a Hotel environment - Project Implementation would be highly desirable.degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field desired.working experience as an Assistant IT or IT manager or relevant experience.in managing IT infrastructure and services in a hospitality-related environment is preferredto multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.and written communication skills in English.positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
