Information Technology Project Manager

IT Project Managers manage highly visible and critical projects, delivering against project goals efficiently and effectively. The candidate must be able to apply project management expertise and experience to lead a project and achieve results.

Responsibilites:
Managing projects from vision through requirements, design, build and test, and post implementation support (including an appropriate gating process)
Agreeing suitable project governance and ensuring that it is aligned with the Project Governance Framework
Ownership and management of project deliverables and artefacts including plans, risk, and stakeholder reporting as set out in the Project Governance Framework
Liaison with internal business and technical teams to ensure business requirements are defined, documented, and delivered
Management of third-party technology suppliers/partners within project parameters
Matrix management of project resources.

Experience:
Track record of delivering large-scale and complex IT-driven projects
Experience of working with Service (IT Helpdesk) teams to onboard projects into Service Business-As-Usual
Experience of working within an IT project management function as part of a virtual cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team
Ability to develop and / or quality assure project lifecycle documentation and technical artefacts and manage governance to ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality
Ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels using interpersonal and influencing skills to support project delivery
PRINCE2 / APM or similar project management accreditation desirable but not essential
