Job Description - Infrastructure & Energy Transition - M&A Associate - London

Stem7 Executive Search has recently partnered with a boutique investment bank to support their search for an Associate to join their Infrastructure M&A team in London.

This firm attracts clients globally thanks to its deep sector expertise, strong transaction track record, and hands‑on senior leadership from origination through to execution. In recent years, the business has advised large corporates, company owners, and financial sponsors on more than 40 M&A transactions across five continents, with deal sizes ranging from EUR 10m to EUR 3bn.

While active across multiple infrastructure sub‑sectors, the firm’s current focus is the Energy Transition. Recent mandates include assignments in renewable generation, battery storage, energy services, peaking and balancing power, water services, and renewable heat. Their clients include major energy and utility companies, infrastructure and private equity funds, and energy services businesses.

They are now seeking an experienced M&A professional specialising in Energy and Infrastructure to join their London team. Candidates must be internationally minded, highly motivated, and academically strong, with exceptional infrastructure and energy modelling capabilities, intellectual leadership, and a collaborative mindset. Creativity and entrepreneurship are encouraged, and the successful hire will be invited to contribute ideas and pursue marketing initiatives.

Successful candidates will have at least four years of M&A advisory experience, gained at a substantial investment bank, consulting firm, or within a relevant corporate M&A team. While much of the firm’s work is conducted in English, additional languages are advantageous.
