We are supporting a confidential public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a high-profile digital transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract basis to lead the design of a critical contingency hosting solution supporting a major data centre exit programme.
The organisation is currently progressing a strategic migration to AWS and is required to vacate an existing data centre by the end of 2026. As part of their risk mitigation and operational resilience strategy, they require an experienced Infrastructure Architect to assess contingency options and design a viable short-term hosting environment should the cloud migration programme encounter delays.
This is a highly visible and business-critical assignment requiring an architect who can operate across infrastructure, networking, security and operational domains to develop practical and resilient solutions that ensure continuity of service.
A strong networking background is considered essential, as a significant proportion of the engagement will involve assessing and designing connectivity, VPN, IP networking and production environment migration strategies.
If you are an experienced Infrastructure Architect with strong networking expertise and a proven track record delivering data centre migration, resilience and continuity programmes, we would be delighted to hear from you.
