Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help support and transform our infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational support for on-premise and cloud-hosted server environments and networks.

• Participate in the design and implementation of new IT processes and policies.

• Support change control, testing, and deployment of infrastructure services.

• Act as a 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex issues.

• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of service delivery.

• Maintain IT security at all times and assist in the upkeep of security accreditations.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years' experience in an Infrastructure Services role.

• Strong expertise in:

  • IaaS (Windows/Linux)

  • Azure networking

  • Monitoring and alerting

  • Azure AD/Local AD

  • Windows Server

  • PowerShell scripting

• Experience with:

  • SAN Storage (HPE Nimble)

  • SD-WAN

  • High availability failover clustering

• Familiarity with:

  • AWS

  • Palo Alto Firewalls

  • Microsoft Intune

  • Zscaler VPN (a plus)

• IT-related degree and certifications (Microsoft O365/Azure Administrator, CCNA, ITIL Foundation).

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Full clean driving license
