Infrastructure Engineer

Arcas Technology is working with a Financial Services company seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure & Automations Engineer to join their IT team. This permanent role is responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and enhancing VMware ESXi, Linux, Windows Server environments, and networking components.
• Developing and managing automation solutions using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Node-Red, and Packer.
• Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Administering authentication solutions (SSO, SAML, Entra Connect) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
• Securing high-value data and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials+, DORA, and ISO 27001.
• Leading infrastructure projects and collaborating with IT leadership on strategic improvements.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of five years' experience in IT infrastructure and automation.
• Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Windows Server, and authentication solutions.
• Strong automation skills in CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and PowerShell/Python scripting.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, and load balancing technologies.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and regulated data protection practices.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical improvements.
