Infrastructure Engineer – S. Manchester - £55k

Synaxia Group are exclusively partnered with a highly acquisitive IT Managed Service Provider, supporting their search for an Infrastructure Engineer, who will be the technical lead on client-based projects.

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering solutions to the customers as projects. As such, this is a heavily project focused role with Cloud and Infrastructure projects being the bulk of your day-to-day.

Projects come in different sizes and complexities; the Infrastructure Engineer will often create proposals for customers. These proposals will include multiple phases and deliverables, working across various technologies and milestones.

Responsibilities
Carry out the design, planning, and execution of IT projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure, network.
Work with our customers to understand their business needs and propose technical solutions and IT roadmaps.
Conduct assessments on our customers' IT systems, produce reports, and offer recommendations accordingly.
Independently and with the sales team, prepare and present proposals to Customers.
Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

What you need
Experience working and leading on cloud or infrastructure projects
Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Remove Desktop Services) experience.
VMWare vSphere and vSAN experience.
Experience of Servers Hardware and SANs from multiple vendors (HPE, Dell, Supermicro).
Any Azure any experience is a major plus.

Initial 8-12 weeks full-time in the office, before reverting to hybrid working (3 days in)
