Our client, a business that has been going for over 60 years is looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity with a diverse business, where you will get the chance to work on multiple projects within a small team.

The client has emphasied the importance of SQL skills for this role. Ideally you may have some experience with database issues, database locks, performance monitoring a database, faultfinding blocks, and tools like SQL profiler.

General day to day duties in this Infrastructure Engineer role include dealing with ticket escalations, supporting servers, switches, desktops, laptops etc.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, the hiring manager is looking for someone with experience within an Infrastructure role with experience with technologies like Windows, Office 365, Active Directory/M365. As mentioned you need some experience with SQL.

Experience with VMware, servers and SAN is also beneficial.

In this Infrastructure Engineer role, you will have lots of project work to get involved with, so it is important that you have good analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
