InHouse Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel - Belfast - Hybrid Are you a commercial lawyer/in-house counsel interested in working in a fast paced, global in-house legal team for a high growth global technology company at an exciting time in their growth journey? This role would suit a commercial solicitor working in private practice keen to move into their first in-house role or alternatively an inhouse legal counsel interested in taking their next in-house step. Ideally you will be 4 + years PQE but there is flexibility on the PQE range either way due to the scope of the role. The RoleWorking as part of this talented in-house legal team the in-house legal counsel will involve leading on the review, negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts with a focus on technology contracts and SaaS agreements. You will work as a legal business partner with the sales team working in close collaboration to advise on any new client negotiations and contracts and existing client renewals to include advising on RFI/RFPs. You will also work closely with the in-house lawyers to look at legal operations and delivery of legal services to the business. You will be! Qualified Solicitor - UK or European jurisidiction 4 + years experience of negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial contracts (consideration will be given to candidates with a lower PQE)It would be ideal if you have some previous experience of negotiating and drafting technology contracts e.g. SaaS agreements software licenceAble to work effectively in a fast paced, dyanmic environmentExcellent communication skills with strong negotiation skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels Highly organised and able to deal with a busy workload If you are interested in a confidential chat about this role please contact me at [email protected] or call 07852332587
