In-house Lawyer

For our client, a premium car manufacturer from China, we are searching for an In-house Lawyer in London, UK.

Responsibilities:

Dealing with the company's internal legal affairs;
Providing legal opinions and suggestions for the company's business decisions;
Cooperating to deal with relevant legal affairs in the company's business process, and ensuring the legal compliance of the company's activities;
Providing timely suggestions on problems arising in the company’s operation to reduce and avoid risks in the company's business activities;
Responsible for drafting, reviewing and revising various legal documents and contracts, and coordinating the negotiation, signing and performance of contracts;
Providing legal advice and guidance to other departments of the company, and organizing relevant legal training to other departments of the company;
Assisting to solve relevant legal disputes, providing legal opinions to the legal disputes, dealing with the company's litigation/arbitration cases and formulating relevant litigation/arbitration strategies and solutions;
Engaging and evaluating the external lawyers, work with external lawyers;
Dealing with other daily legal work and other assigned work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in law or above, with lawyer qualification certificate;
More than 3 years legal working experience, including working as a lawyer in a law firm and as an in-house lawyer in a company;
Relevant working experience in automotive industry, familiar with relevant EU laws and regulations on automotive industry;
Capable to use local language and English as working languages;
Analyze independently and provide legal suggestions on the potential risks and impacts in business operation, project implementation and contracts.
Fluent communication skills to exchange with personnel of various internal departments, external entity and lawyers.
Working experience in a Chinese company is a plus, Chinese language is a plus.
