are delighted to be working on behalf of a
Global Retail and Leisure business.
They are seeking a
VAT Manager
for a
permanent position
to start as soon as possible.
This position will be in their Surrey office (2 Days in the office, 3 From home).
You will be responsible for controlling the VAT compliance process across 30+ jurisdictions (UK, US, Europe and Asia).
You’ll also work on ensuring appropriate VAT controls and processes are in place across all jurisdictions.
Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued compliance, providing audit support, promoting VAT awareness, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
The team have already implemented ERP systems to assist with the automation of VAT, It will be your responsibility to maintain this.
This role will include exposure to other taxes such as: PE, Withholding taxes, sales tax and
Corporate/International
Tax.
You will work closely with the Group Head of Tax, and will also have the resource of a VAT accountant.
Regarding salary, you can expect
£65-70,000
Plus
£5,000
Car allowance.
Other benefits include: 10% Pension and 15% Bonus.
