TeamJobs are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on technical role within a busy mouldshop, ideal for someone with strong injection moulding experience who is confident with tool changes, machine setting, fault finding and process optimisation.

Hours

Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern:

6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm

What you'll be doing

Loading and unloading injection mould tools safely
Setting production tooling and ancillary equipment
Preparing upcoming production jobs to ensure efficient changeovers
Monitoring and optimising injection moulding processes
Fault finding and troubleshooting machinery and process issues
Identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Working closely with Quality and Production teams
Maintaining accurate production and process records
Supporting new product introductions and production trials
Carrying out routine equipment maintenance
Looking for ways to improve cycle times, quality and overall machine performance Technician

What we're looking for

Previous experience working within an injection moulding environment
Strong knowledge of injection moulding machinery and processes
Experience setting tooling and working with ancillary equipment
Knowledge of robots, hot runner systems and mould heaters
Good understanding of materials processing and processing temperatures
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience monitoring and optimising moulding processes
NVQ Level 3 / Level 3 PTIC or equivalent preferred; however, candidates with strong injection moulding experience without the formal qualification will still be considered
