Job Description

A leading specialist supplier in flow meters, level sensors, and control instruments, serving customers in the manufacturing and process industries and representing renowned manufacturers for measurement solutions in flow, pressure, level, and temperature. The business manufactures a range of industrial and customized high -quality turbine flow meters and related instruments, and through a dedicated service division, offers accredited ISO17025 calibration services.

The engineering team possesses deep expertise in flow technologies, including ultrasonic, electro -magnetic, turbine, positive displacement, vortex shedding, and thermal mass flow meters and controllers. Practical knowledge in flow measurement enables tailored solutions for a diverse range of applications across process, science, green energy, medical, aerospace, food, chemical, energy, and water industries.

Role Description

This is a full -time hybrid role for an Internal Sales Engineer, with flexibility for remote work. The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating quotations, providing technical support, and engaging in sales activities. Key duties include understanding customer requirements, preparing accurate and timely quotes, and supporting the sales team in achieving targets. Daily tasks involve client communication, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure high -quality service and customer satisfaction.

Salary

£30,000 to £35,000 per year.256

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the UK
  
• Experience in preparing quotations and providing technical support
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  
• Experience in the instrumentation or flow measurement industry is a plus
  
• Knowledge of process signals such as pulse, 4 -20mA, Modbus, M -bus
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
