Inside Sales Executive

A growing manufacturing business based in Bedford is looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join its sales team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous sales experience within an industrial, manufacturing, commodity or materials environment who enjoys working with customers and wants to develop their career within a commercial sales team.
Working alongside the Sales Manager and wider sales team, you’ll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations and proactively following up opportunities to help generate new and repeat business.
The Role
* Managing incoming sales enquiries and developing them into sales opportunities.
* Preparing quotations and proactively following up with customers to secure orders.
* Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their product requirements.
* Following up existing customers and identifying opportunities for repeat or additional business.
* Working closely with the sales team and internal departments to progress orders and deliver excellent customer service.
About You
We’re looking for someone with previous sales or customer-facing experience, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, commodity or materials sales.
You’ll be confident speaking with customers, commercially minded and proactive when it comes to following up opportunities. You’ll also need good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
