Job Description - Insights engagement coordinator

We create data-driven insights based on real financial data, that identify areas to inform policy change and enhance regulation.

Inspire financial innovation with aizle, Smart Data Foundry’s synthetic data engine, creating high utility synthetic data with no privacy issues when real-world data doesn’t exist or cannot be safely shared.

Role Purpose The Insights Engagement Coordinator works closely with the Head of Insights to facilitate communication and collaboration between the Insights team and external stakeholders, clients and partners.

The role holder will help to enhance the quality, reputation and visibility of the insights dashboard product by collecting customer and partner feedback (via organised events, workshops and industry forums), facilitating industry research and by preparing presentations and reports.

Responsibilities the delivery of market and customer research to provide insight and recommendations to support development of the proposition.

to researching and writing procurement bids, reports, publications, blog posts, and other knowledge exchange activities.

high-level meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders (academics, funders, Government, and industrial partners), including agenda setting and dissemination.

Supports the planning and execution of external engagements through events, conferences, meetings.

Stakeholder management: conducting expert interviews and workshops to gather expert insight into projects (e.g.

tourism, health, economists, environmentalists).

Skills and Experience Bachelor Degree or qualified through experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.

An understanding and interest in data and its potential utility to provide insight into societal issues.

Strong analytical skills and expertise in collating and summarising information.

Process-driven, great attention to detail and problem-solving ability Team player with good interpersonal skills, a collegiate and customer-focused approach to the delivery of services Ability to influence diplomatically and negotiate to resolve both routine and more complex project and/or customer problems.

A positive, can-do attitude with a pro-active approach to work and a proven ability to work across multiple projects as part of a busy team.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

Experience in bid writing is desirable Experience of public and or/academic sectors is desirable.

Location This role is based in our office in the Bayes Centre in Edinburgh therefore candidates must be within commutable distance or willing to relocate.
