Our market leading client is seeking an Inspection Assistant to work within the electronics department. You will be responsible for the test and inspection of customers PCB products using a range of

automated test equipment and visual inspection.

Inspection Assistant Responsibilities:

• Production test and inspection of electronic assemblies according to customer specifications and requirements of new and existing products
• Use of AOI, FPT QUINS and X-Ray equipment
• Visual, Microscope and Camera inspection
• Ensure all work is completed to specified standards
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
• Carry out any other reasonable request which is a benefit to the business
• Assist in the training of team members, ensuring best practices are maintained

Desirable Experience:

• Ideally previous visual inspection experience using microscopes or similar manual inspection
• Knowledge of AQI, FPT or QUINS would be desirable
• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing would be preferred
• The ability to fault find electronics to component level would be an advantage
