Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5, focusing on key topics such as business theory, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance.


• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards while encouraging critical thinking and practical application of business concepts.


• Assess student progress using a combination of formative and summative assessments, providing valuable feedback to aid development.


• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent learning.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business Department to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.


• Keep parents and guardians informed about student progress and encourage a strong school-home connection.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field.


• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).


• Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5 level.


• Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering student success in business.
