Installation Electrician

Responsibilities

• Carry out the installation of electrical systems, wiring, containment, and components to industry standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Install and terminate cables, distribution boards, lighting, power systems, and associated hardware
• Conduct inspection and testing of new and existing electrical installations in accordance with the 18th Edition
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults or installation issues efficiently and safely
• Use specialist meters and test equipment to ensure compliance and functionality
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 and relevant H&S legislation
• Complete job sheets, test certificates, and reports digitally via mobile apps
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to deliver projects on time
• Travel to various commercial and industrial sites across the M25 and up to Chelmsford

Installation Electrician

Requirements

• Fully qualified Installation Electrician
• JIB Gold Card (essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) (essential)
• Strong experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Proven installation experience, ideally within specialist or safety-critical systems
• Valid UK driving licence
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Comfortable using mobile apps and digital systems
