Installation Engineer

Location: Essex (UK-wide and occasional international travel)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

A leading engineering company in the medical, defence, and private sectors is looking for an experienced Site Installation Engineer to join its team. This role involves installing and servicing specialist projects across the UK and overseas, offering variety, travel, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Install and service specialist site projects to a high standard.
Work as part of a team and take the lead on installations when required.
Attend regular site meetings and briefings.
Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety regulations.
Travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' installation experience in a similar role.
Ability to read construction drawings.
Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
CSCS card essential; IPAF and PASMA certifications advantageous.
Metalworking, woodworking, or welding experience beneficial (training can be provided).
Good written and spoken English.
Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
Valid UK driving licence (held for at least 6 years).
Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
Must hold a current UK passport to facilitate travel.
