Insurance Account Handler

?? Location: Office-based in Westcliff-on-Sea
?? Salary: £30,000+ (dependent on experience)
?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
? Holidays: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas close-down

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Account Handler to support our busy broking team. This office-based role involves liaising with clients and insurers, preparing quotes, processing adjustments, and providing excellent service across a wide range of commercial insurance products.

• Support the broking team with day-to-day client servicing

• Administer client policies, including quotes and mid-term adjustments

• Cross-sell relevant insurance products based on client needs

• Help achieve team targets and assist senior staff when needed

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines (e.g. Combined Liability, PI, D&O, Cyber, CAR, Motor Fleet)

• Proficient with Acturis, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Excellent written, telephone, and client service skills

• Proven track record in meeting targets and handling negotiations

• Target-driven, self-motivated, and solutions-focused

• Able to manage pressure, deadlines, and client expectations

• Strong team player with the ability to support and collaborate effectively

• Confident communicator, able to build and maintain professional relationships
