Are you an experienced Insurance Account Handler looking to join a well-established and growing insurance brokerage where your knowledge and client service skills are genuinely valued?

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected independent broker who is looking to add an experienced Account Handler to their commercial insurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of five years' insurance experience who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering first-class service.

The Role

Working within a friendly and professional team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing expert support throughout the policy lifecycle and ensuring clients receive an exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business enquiries.
Preparing and processing insurance documentation accurately.
Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and obtain competitive quotations.
Providing professional advice on suitable insurance products and cover.
Responding promptly to client queries by phone and email.
Building long-term client relationships through outstanding customer service.
Maintaining accurate records in line with FCA and company compliance requirements.
Supporting colleagues across the wider team when required.

About You

Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Insurance Account Handler or within a similar commercial insurance role.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Confident working with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Experience using insurance broking systems would be advantageous.
