Commercial Insurance Account Executive/Handler
This is a full-time permanent position

within a long established commercial insurance brokers based near Cardiff. Position attracts a competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Position will suit experienced account handlers and aspiring account executives with c lear focus on driving new business and retaining existing clients
The main duties include: prospecting new clients, writing new business, assisting with renewal retention, carrying out mid-term adjustments, visiting clients when required, responding to general queries, claims handling when required and general processing.
Requirements:
Excellent customer service ethos essential
Commercial insurance experience essential
SME knowledge and an understanding of the property market desired
Acturis insurance software knowledge required
Excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills
Good problem solving skills and confident in own ability essential.
Positive outlook with focus on being a team player.
Able to take instructions and work efficiently and on own initiative
Excellent organisation skills and able to work well under pressure.
Successful applicants will have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise.
Self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised
Good listener and able to build a rapport with clients, insurers and colleagues.
To act at all times within the FCA Principles for Business and to comply with FCA and internal procedures at all times
