Insurance Advisor

R13 recruitment are working in partnership with a recognised, independent insurance organisation in their search for a crucial hire to join their established commercial team. Seeking an insurance professional who brings a background in commercial renewals, this is a unique opportunity to move into a role with a clear defined opportunity for growth.

This is a key role supporting a varied client base, with a focus on delivering strategic cover and building long-term relationships - working consultatively with small to mid-sized businesses. You will be able to confidently utilise your expertise in renewals to then play a pivotal part in the overall client management ensuring best-fit solutions across a broad spectrum of industry sectors.

The day to day:

• Advising business clients on appropriate insurance arrangements across multiple risk types.
• Securing terms via a wide panel of insurance providers.
• Managing end-to-end client service with an emphasis on clarity and trust.
• Upholding internal compliance and quality standards across all documentation.
• Contributing to a responsive, service-driven team culture.

Ideal background:

• Proven experience in commercial or SME-focused insurance, within renewals.
• Strong understanding of key policy types including liability, property, and combined packages.
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative, solutions-led approach.
• Confidence in insurer negotiations and market placement.
• Professional qualifications (Cert CII) desirable but not essential.
