True Traveller is looking for enthusiastic customer services professionals to join our team.

The Role?

We're on the lookout for a dynamic Insurance Consultant to join our team at True Traveller, stationed in our London office. In this role, you'll be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service to both our new and existing clients.

The salary is based on experience; the lowest grade starts at £29,465. This is an exciting time to join our business and the successful candidate can expect fantastic career progression, training and development within the role and Travel Insurance Industry in general. Moreover, all consultants will have the chance to delve into our Claims Department, for personal development and gaining a better understanding of our product.

We seek an ambitious salesperson with a knack for customer service being the main factor. Also possessing confidence in client interactions, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record in a similar capacity. Preferably, candidates will have first hand experience with backpacking or adventurous travel abroad, so it’s easy to build a rapport with the customers and understand their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Dealing with inbound customer calls and understanding the customer’s needs by knowing the product we offer.
Ensuring calls are answered in a timely manner and that exceptional customer experience is always delivered.
Answering email enquiries and manning our “Live Chat” support service as part of a team.
Working within a team with the aim of maximising sales and client retention whilst business standards are always adhered to.

About You:

Join our dynamic team at True Traveller in London! As an Insurance Consultant, you'll receive comprehensive training and support from our management team. While the role is primarily office-based, we offer one day of remote work per week after probation. Weekend shifts are remote, too.

This full-time position includes one Saturday and Sunday every four weeks, with time off in lieu, plus one bank holiday per year with extra pay and time in lieu. You'll also be eligible for our company bonus scheme.

To succeed, you should have:

Experience in customer service and/or insurance sales.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computing.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Analytical ability and attention to detail.
A passion for travel.
