Insurance Broker

IPS Group are partnering with a global insurance group that provides a broad range of commercial insurance products tailored to a variety of industries across the UK market.

Due to continued success and expansion, they are looking to recruit an Insurance Professional to join their high-performing broking/sales team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in personal or commercial lines insurance who enjoys engaging with customers, converting leads, and managing policies from quote through to renewal.

The Role
You will work within a team that delivers specialist insurance solutions across a variety of professions. Customers are acquired both through digital platforms and inbound enquiries, and the team plays a crucial role in providing advice, placing risk, and delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities will include:

• Re-engaging with customers who have received quotes but not purchased
• Handling inbound calls and supporting customers via phone, email, and live chat
• Quoting, binding, renewing, and processing policies across a wide insurer panel
• Managing mid-term adjustments and policy administration
• Identifying cross-sell opportunities and promoting suitable add-on products

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience in insurance or financial services (broking, underwriting, or telesales)
• Confidence in working to sales or retention targets in a telephony-based role
• A customer-first mindset with great attention to detail
