The Company
Our Client, is a well-established, market leading and international Lloyd's Broker, with a solid reputation in the London Market. With offices worldwide, you will be based in their Head Office, in the Heart of the London Market. Your new company have a solid reputation, for providing innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their valued Clients and Retail Brokers and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional level of service.

Your new role, as a Broker, will be based in their successful Healthcare Division, and is focused on the account management of an international portfolio of Healthcare/Medical Malpractice business, as well as the placement and production of complex risks.

Duties & responsibilities
As a Broker, you will be responsible for the account management, production and placement of complex risks (the current book of business consists of UK, US and International Retail and Wholesale business)
Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Retail Brokers, Underwriters and the company network
Assist with identifying new opportunities that will increase company revenue
Negotiating with insurers and placing risks into the London Market insurers
Provide expert advice to clients on Healthcare/Medical Malpractice Insurance solutions
Responsible for attending Client and Underwriter meetings
Attending occasional International business trips
Working closely with the technical team to ensure the accuracy of client and market documentation for the smooth running of placing risks

About you
3 + years’ experience as a Broker or a Handler / Executive
Experience in Healthcare / Medical Malpractice insurance
Having experience in working for a Lloyd’s Broker is advantageous
Excellent relationship building and client facing skills
