Insurance Claims Handler

A highly regarded and expanding Manchester based dynamic law firm specialising in credit hire and housing disrepair claims are currently looking to recruit a Insurance Claims Handler to work within the FNOL team on a full time basis.

The firm are looking for motivated individual to manage a portfolio of credit hire claims from inception to settlement, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and protecting the firm's interests through effective negotiation and investigation.

Job Title: Insurance Claims Handler

Location: Manchester City Centre - Fully Office Based

Salary: £27,000 PLUS monthly bonus (OTE £45,000)

Hours: Shift work - Week 1 8am - 5pm / Week 2 10am - 7pm / Weekend Work Required (working 2 days one Saturday and one Sunday per month)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of credit hire claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing from notification through to settlement
• Make informed liability and indemnity decisions, utilizing case law and available evidence
• Manage inbound and outbound communications with clients, third parties, garages, and suppliers
• Take ownership of complaints, aiming for resolution on the first point of contact
• Meet monthly targets related to claim settlement and cost reduction
