My client is a leading boutique City law firm and claims TPA, specialising in dispute resolution in the insurance, commercial and construction sectors. With the market absolutely booming this year this firm is in the market for either a lateral hire or aspirant salaried partner to join them.

They are looking for someone with experience of professional indemnity claims, preferably for insurers/the defendant, which might include construction, professions (including solicitors, accountants) and financial lines (including FI, fidelity and D&O).

You would join a reputable team of very experienced partners and lawyers who not only deal with work with an international element but who also have many years experience gained at large international firms, of dealing with claims brought against a range of professionals, especially those employed in the financial services industry. In addition to advising various insurers and reinsurers they act for corporate and financial institutional clients.

Defence and coverage of solicitors’ professional indemnity cases is at the core of this firm’s skill set in that these lawyers have gained broader experience in this area than comparable firms. They have successfully defended a variety of claims at trial and with extensive experience in multi-party litigation from class actions to regulatory enquiries, this is a particularly highly skilled set of lawyers within the insurance industry to work closely with.
