Insurance Litigation Solicitor/Senior Solicitor (2-5 years')

A leading UK law firm is looking for a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join its Dispute Resolution team in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established litigation team working across a broad client base.

The Role:
You’ll support a busy and growing practice focused on liability defence and commercial disputes. The team handles cases on behalf of insurers, public bodies and large self-insured organisations, with work spanning:

• Motor claims
• Employer’s and public liability
• Industrial disease
• Clinical negligence
• Fatal accidents
• Property damage

You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior team members on larger, more complex matters. This role includes both contentious and some advisory work, with regular appearances in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session.

What You’ll Bring

• 2-5 years’ PQE
• Background in defender litigation or insurance disputes preferred
• Strong case management, drafting and advocacy skills
• Ability to meet client SLAs and court deadlines
• Clear and confident communicator
• Collaborative and proactive approach
