Intensive Support Manager - Learning Disabilities

Recruiting for an Intensive Support Manager – Learning Disabilities (Essex & London). Our client is a specialist provider of learning disability services across London and Essex. Please note sponsorship is not available at this time. You will need to have your own transport to travel to the services based in London and Essex.

About you: Essential Requirements

* Significant experience at Registered Manager or Service Manager level within adult social care.

* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding responsibilities, quality assurance process and regulatory compliance.

* Professional qualification or relevant workplace experience (ideally with level 5 care manager qualification)

* Experience of managing staff related matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary, capability and absence

* Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational priorities

* Ability to manage a full and varied workload effectively to meet deadlines with the ability to work well under pressure.

Job details:

The Intensive Support Manager will provide expert operational leadership, management support and intervention across their Learning Disability services. Acting as a peripatetic manager, the post holder will be deployed flexibly across services where additional leadership, improvement, or management capacity is required. They will work alongside colleagues to rapidly assess service performance, identify risks, implement improvement plans and strengthen operational delivery of services providing visible, hands-on operational management and coaching to teams. They will ensure we are providing good or outstanding support to all customers in Services where they are deployed to by ensuring all delivery teams comply with all relevant legislation, systems, processes and policy and procedures.

Working a 37.5 hour week, Salary £50,000 per annum plus a great range of benefits including:
