This role is for a Fixed Income Strat in London at the VP level.  You will be part of the Global team that designs and develops cutting edge modelling for the construction of all Interest Rate Yield Curves across all currencies used throughout the firm. In addition, you will also develop and  support all Linear Interest Rate Products throughout the firm, such as Swaps, Basis Swaps, Futures, etc.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded strat/quant with a proven Macro background. You perform a critical function for the desk, working directly alongside our traders and sales team to augment existing processes and deliver on new opportunities for clients.

What will you be doing?

• Design and develop cutting-edge Interest Rate Yield Curve Construction Models including Inflation
• Development and Support of all Linear Interest Rate Products across all currencies
• Develop in an extensive modern C++ library (C++ 17, VS2022)
• Interact with a wide variety of clients from Trading, Technology, Risk and other Strat teams

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience, preferably as a quant, commensurate with Vice President level at Morgan Stanley
• Degree in a quantitative subject
•         Very good knowledge of C++, and, if possible, experience in functional programming
•        Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with ability to investigate novel solutions
•        Working as part of a team, collaborating internally as well as with other Strats and partners
