Interim CFO

Job Title: Interim CFO

Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: Circa £1250 - £1,500 per day

Duration: 6 Months +

Start Date: Immediate

I am working with an Industrial / B2B business going through a period of significant change, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Interim CFO to join on a six-month assignment. This is a critical role focused on driving commercial performance, improving productivity across a multi-site operation, and leading a large matrix team through a demanding period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial direction and hands-on leadership through a period of business change.
• Drive productivity improvements across multiple sites, embedding commercial excellence throughout the organisation.
• Lead, develop and inspire a large finance team within a matrix structure.
• Support on M&A activity, from due diligence to integration.
• Shape and execute development strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong focus on cash flow, profitability and long-term value creation.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Board, providing robust financial insight and challenge.

Required Experience:

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a large Industrial / B2B business.
• Demonstrated success in leading through periods of significant organisational change and transformation.
• A strong, motivational team leader with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter who can operate independently and at pace in a complex, evolving environment.
• Hands-on approach with a commercial mindset and sharp focus on cash and profitability.
