Someone with a background in the defence technology business, or broader defence market at senior levels.
Working closely with the CEO as part of the SLT rebuilding stakeholder relationships with established key clients, establishing high levels of trust and competency to win bids of up to £50m for weapons and communications component bids.
This is a role of high accountability and autonomy. Must understand such things as sole sourcing and price to risk.
Building capability in tenders and bids, robustness in output and ensuring what leaves the building is solid ad competent.
Security clearence not required, as it can be got, but is prefereble. Whilst this is an interim role, they are recruiting permanently so if preferred, this could turn into a permanent job.
