Your new role The school is seeking an experienced and organised Examination Officer to join the team from September. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and distributing comprehensive exam timetables Recruiting, training, and managing exam invigilators and support staff Ensuring all controlled assessment marks and predicted grades are accurately recorded and communicated Coordinating the smooth delivery of both internal and external examinations Attending relevant training sessions to support ongoing professional development Acting as a key point of contact, liaising effectively with exam boards, students, and parentsWhat you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
A solid understanding of exam regulations and processes Strong IT skills and confidence using school systems The ability to remain calm under pressure while managing tight deadlines Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail A proactive and self-motivated approach to work The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Clear and effective communication skillsPlease note, a successful appointment will be subject to satisfactory references covering the past two years. An Enhanced DBS check is also required (or you must be registered on the DBS Update Service).
