Location: Oxford (Hybrid working options available)
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience, plus benefits
Rate: £400/day (Outside IR35)
3-6 Month Contract

We are seeking a dedicated Interim Fire Safety Advisor to oversee fire risk management, compliance, and contractor supervision at a renowned college in Oxford. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and operational integrity of a vibrant academic community.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all fire safety contractors, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
Conduct regular fire risk assessments, review safety documentation, and monitor remedial actions.
Maintain and test fire alarm, detection, and emergency lighting systems, ensuring ongoing operational readiness.
Organise and lead fire drills and emergency response exercises, including training fire wardens.
Keep detailed records of fire safety audits, inspections, and safety improvements.Requirements:

NEBOSH Fire and Safety qualification or equivalent (or willing to attain).
Proven experience in fire safety management within complex or historic building environments.
Strong organisational skills and an ability to liaise effectively with contractors and internal teams.
