Interim Head of Communications Pharma

Job Description

Bio-tech pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Head of Communications to work with them for a 12 month maternity cover contract.

With an established background working in life science, bio-tech, pharma this person will be in a stand alone role working across corporate communications, supporting investor relations, media relations and internal communications.

They will need to understand drug development and clinical trials as well as regulatory process with ability to understand the science and tech and then communicate out milestones to different audiences with different levels of knowledge and understanding.

They will work across investor relations devising messaging, updates and presentations and briefing CEO and other senior leaders for meetings with investors.

For media – working with agency partner and taking ownership of strategy, reputation management programme.

Internal communications responsibilities for quarterly town halls, events, updates and intranet.

Flex working is 1 -2 days a week on site.
