I am working with an established HR function, to source an Interim Head of HR Shared Services. You will be working closely with a
very competent, high performing HR team , to help
identify key areas of improvement
across current
processes and SLAs
and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Partnering key stakeholders
and departments across Finance, Audit and Operations, this role requires a people leader with a keen eye for
process improvement
and ability to
influence and coach
senior stakeholders through change. You will be leading a highly competent, high performing, HR Shared Service function, including people operations, payroll and reward.
There is no HRIS in place, and whilst they would love to bring one in, this isn’t an option for the near future. The successful candidate will be able to come in, review and work with current tools in place, and drive efficiencies. It’s vital you have experience working with a Payroll function to
optimise current reporting and processes .
So, what’s the deliverables of the assignment?
Build a key document that captures all tasks and activities across the People Operations Teams and drive efficiencies across all processes
Develop SLAs for key operational partners
across the business that feed into the People Operations team, ie Finance and Audit, to make sure roles, responsibilities and who is accountable for what is clear
Improve internal and external audit processes
to ensure a timely and thorough audit is delivered
Create and deliver new processes on
HR compliance
to ensure any changes are documented and reported on correctly, ie Holiday Pay, Right To Work etc
Identify what key
people metrics
are needed for an MI Dashboard to support the People Operations team
Drive efficiencies across the payroll system , automating processes where possible to improve employee experience
