The Opportunity; We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join an exciting service business on a 6-month interim basis. This is a generalist position, providing hands-on HR support across a range of areas including employee relations, recruitment, and HR projects. The role is well-suited to an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in delivering effective HR solutions that align with business objectives. The role will report to the HR Manager and work alongside a supportive, friendly HR team. Please note candidates must be available immediately to start due to the interim nature of this role.
Key Responsibilities;
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
Manage a variety of employee relations matters, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
Support hiring managers to manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding.
Support the delivery of HR projects, including policy development, process improvements, and change initiatives.
Maintain and update HR systems and ensure accurate reporting of employee data.
Provide guidance on employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
Assist with learning and development activities where required.
Ideal candidate;
CIPD qualified (or working towards) with proven experience in an HR generalist role.
Employee relations experience with the ability to advise and manage cases confidently.
Demonstrable recruitment experience across various role types.
Able to work on HR projects and deliver results within agreed timescales.
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Strong team player, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
