Interim Management Accountant

We have just registered a 12-week Interim Management Accountant role based in Poulton-Le-Fylde, with an immediate start available. The role is office-based and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive, growing company and play a pivotal role within the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering with the Finance and Commercial Directors to support strategic objectives.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports and insightful analysis to senior management.
• Managing the finance team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Taking an active role in the Senior Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement.
• Overseeing HR and payroll processes, including documentation and compliance.
• Supporting line managers with HR documentation and best practices.
• Leading on recruitment, on boarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Producing monthly management accounts, VAT returns, variance analysis, and statutory account support.
• Reconciling invoice discounting, managing month-end journals, and processing payments.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
