Interim Management Accountant – Public Sector

We are looking to connect with experienced Management Accountants interested in upcoming interim and contract opportunities across the public sector.

We work with organisations across Local Government, NHS, Higher Education and the wider Public Sector, supporting finance teams with experienced interim professionals.

Typical assignments may involve:

* Management accounts preparation

* Budget monitoring and forecasting

* Supporting annual budget-setting processes

* Variance analysis and financial reporting

* Working closely with budget holders and service managers

* Month-end and year-end processes

* Identifying financial pressures, risks and savings opportunities

* Supporting Finance Business Partners and senior finance managers

* Financial modelling and analysis

* Supporting transformation, improvement and change programmes

We are particularly interested in candidates who are CCAB qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, including CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA and ACA professionals.

Previous experience within Local Government, NHS, Higher Education, Central Government or another complex public-sector organisation would be advantageous.

We would particularly like to hear from candidates who are immediately available, approaching the end of an assignment, or considering their next interim opportunity.
