Your new role
We're looking for an organised and detail‑driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly, fast‑paced business based close to Clifton Triangle. This is a temporary role providing essential sick‑leave cover, ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience who can hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities

Invoice processing - matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
Supplier statement reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
Supporting the wider finance team with ad‑hoc tasks
What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using accounting software and Excel
Able to work independently and pick things up quickly
A positive, proactive attitude
