Interiors Project Manager - Contract

Day Rate: £400pd outside
Contract length: 12 months +
Location: Slough office
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm
 
*Must have a car and driving license to be able to commute to Heathrow Airport*
  
Our client:
We are a specialist contractor in Electrical, Mechanical, and Interior Fit-Out services. With a strong reputation for delivering both small-scale and multi-million-pound projects, we work across the aviation sector for clients including Heathrow Airport, major airlines, retailers, and main contractors. Our current project values range from £20,000 to over £7 million.
  
The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Interiors Project Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for managing fit-out and reactive maintenance projects ranging from £20k to £700k. Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you’ll oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple interior fit-out projects from start to finish
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and progress
• Prepare documentation and programming schedules
• Problem-solve and adapt to challenges quickly and effectively

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in interior fit-outs, ideally with a background in trades such as joinery, drylining, suspended ceilings, and general building
• Solid understanding of interior systems and materials
• Familiarity with M&E works
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Project
• Experience managing Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 
Additional Requirements:

• Must have driving license and a car
• Able to provide five years of continuous employment references (for airside pass clearance)
• Must pass a criminal record check
• Training will be provided as required
