Internal Audit Assistant Manager

Key responsibilities of the role

• Lead internal audit assignments with high quality and consistency for senior review.
• Deliver on-site or remote audits.
• Present findings and advisory outcomes to clients.
• Plan audits with clients, aligning with risk registers and governance expectations.
• Manage time and budgets, including oversight of junior staff on assignments.
• Support business development through meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

What they are looking for...

• Internal audit experience within a accountancy firm (essential).
• ACA, ACCA, IIA Part-Qualified or Qualified.
• Experience working on audits of different sizes.
• Based in either Cambridgeshire, London or Essex.
• Excellent communication skills as this is a client-facing role.
